Xiaomi’s Mi Fan Festival goes live in India tomorrow with offers on Mi 4, Redmi 2, Mi Pad and Redmi Note 4G
Xiaomi is all set to celebrate its fifth birthday tomorrow. This is the first time the company will celebrate its birthday with Indian users, and calling it the Mi Fan Festival, the company has announced a bunch of one-day only offers. The offers are on the Redmi 2, Mi 4, Redmi Note 4G and Mi Pad.
The festival will begin at 12.00PM and go on till midnight tomorrow. As part of the celebrations, the company is slashing the price of the Mi 4 by Rs 2,000. Therefore you can purchase the Mi 4 (16GB) for Rs 17,999 (usually priced at Rs 19,999) and Mi 4 (64GB) for Rs 21,999 (usually priced at Rs 23,999) tomorrow.
Xiaomi is giving away free Mi in-ear headphones with the Redmi Note 4G purchased online. If you purchase the Redmi Note 4G from Airtel or The Mobile Store, you get a free 5,200mAh Mi Power Bank tomorrow.
Lastly, Xiaomi is conducting an open sale of the Redmi 2 and Mi Pad tomorrow, where you can purchase both the products without the need for any prior registrations.
Xiaomi today also announced its partnerships with Amazon and Snapdeal in India, thus ending its exclusivity with Flipkart. All of the above products and offers will be available on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.
Xiaomi was founded in 2010, and is currently valued at a whopping $45 billion. The company raised a huge $1.1 billion in December last year, and has been heavily expanding its footprint in India, SouthEast Asia, Brazil and Mexico. It entered India just last year, and managed to become the fifth largest smartphone vendor in the country in just five months.
