Cutting costs where you can is a tale as old as time, but it especially applies to the world of 4K Blu-ray. In case you haven’t noticed, things are expensive in this realm, and the prices are only going up. I don’t blame you for wanting to pick up a 4K Blu-ray player for cheap. Sadly, that’s not really a thing anymore, but you’ll see that many models are cheaper than others. When I picked it up, the Sony UBP-X700K was one of the cheaper players on the market, but you’ll still have to pony up about $300 for one today. I didn’t pay that price years ago, but you know how it goes now.
