iOS 8.1 announced, bringing features like Apple Pay, and Camera Roll among others
As expected, Apple today announced iOS 8.1 update. The update brings in a host of improvements and as well as bringing back some features like the Camera Roll. iOS 8.1 will be released to users on Monday.
Apple’s Craig Federighi mentioned that the company has listened to user feedback, and one of the popular features that is making a comeback is the Camera Roll. In addition to this feature, iOS 8.1 will also bring in features like Apple Pay, iCloud Photo Library, and other features that tie-up with OS X Yosemite operating system.
iOS 8 has not been the smoothest of releases for Apple. Post the public release, the operating system still runs on less than half of iOS devices. The first update for iOS, which was supposed to fix a few bugs, ended up causing issues on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
