New iPhone 15 leaks confirm USB Type-C and Action Button in Apple devices

September is just a few weeks away and the internet cannot stop talking about the most awaited iPhone 15 series. So many leaks have surfaced on the internet recently and one of these confirms that the iPhone 15 series will feature the USB type-C cable. The upcoming iPhone 15 series will reportedly include four phones, just like the 14 series, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. If Apple were to follow its traditional timeline, then the phones will be launched in September next month.

Ahead of the speculated launch, @lipilipsi and @John011235 have posted images of charging ports on Twitter, which suggest that iPhone is going to ditch its classic lightning connector and go for the USB type-C charging slot. If this is true then iPhone users will not have to go through the hassle of finding an “iPhone charger”. However, let’s not get excited just yet as Apple is yet to confirm this news.

But what adds to our excitement is the fact that the leaked and speculated images show the USB type-C cables on the upcoming iPhone handles. Not just this, another Twitter user, MajinBuOfficial, leaked images suggesting that the iPhone 15 Pro Max variant will come equipped with an all new “Action Button”.

The reason why we can think that these rumours have some weight to it is because Apple previously said that it will equip its future iPhones with the USB Type-C cable in order to comply with the European Union’s regulations. However, they never confirmed that iPhone 15 is going to be the series which will come with that.

Rumour has it that the iPhone 15 series will feature this and only Made for iPhone (MFi) certified accessories will offer full functionality.

On to the Action Button now. It could be similar to the Action Button on the Apple Watch Ultra and will allow you to perform specific actions. It could possibly replace the mute button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
