Remember how Pokémon Go made an iOS-first debut last year at the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch? Something similar happened this year, but it didn’t get enough attention. However, fans are now going back to the night and thatgamecompany’s next game Sky, has caught their attention. The company is launching the game Sky and it is coming first to Apple TV, iPhones and iPads.
The Journey fame thatgamecompany’s Sky combines exploration with a light social experience. In the game, players will fly through the clouds in order to collect light from around the world, controlling a mysterious cloaked figure.
At the event, the gaming company announced in its brief demo that Sky will have online multiplayer support for up to eight players worldwide. At the event, the company representative said the game would first come to Apple, but did not specify the platform. However, in a recent tweet the company noted that the game will only be available on Apple’s three platforms: iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, the latter of which will soon support 4K resolution.
And baes on the demo and the company’s promo videos for Sky, the 4K will definitely makes the experience much better. Thatgamecompany first teased its new project early last year, it said that it was working on “a game about giving.” Prior to that hint, the studio announced that it had begun development on a new project after raising more than $7 million in equity to do so in 2014.
