Google I/O 2015: Android Wear update will make apps glanceable, actionable and effortless just like seeing time on a watch
After announcing Android M, Google has announced new update for Android Wear, which is inspired by how we have used to see time on a watch. Google says it already has 4,000 apps built specifically for Android Wear.
Android Wear watches will include an always on display to not only save time but always on apps as well. This will show apps in glance mode depending on your location and what you are doing.
The update will also bring wrist gestures without touching the display. You can simply flick your wrist to go through a list. Google is also adding a “draw and emoji” feature.
Google is also changing the launcher that will make apps glanceable, actionable and effortless just like seeing time on a watch.
