HTC is holding a press event in Delhi and the company is widely expected to be launching the flagship One M9 today.  The invite says that the company is ‘unveiling brilliance’ and that it is ‘going to showcase the most exciting revelation in the history of smartphones’ indicating that the company is most likely to launch the flagship.

The Taiwanese company had taken the wraps off the One M9 at MWC in Barcelona last month. The flagship flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and is powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset with 64-bit capability, paired with 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone also includes 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card, 20-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 4-Ultrapixel snapper up front. The rest of the features include BoomSound speakers with 5.1 Dolby Surround sound playback, a 2,840mAh battery, and the usual bevy of connectivity options includes LTE support, NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, wrapped under Sense 7 UI.

HTC recently also announced the One M9+, which boasts a QHD display, Duo Camera setup at the back, as well as a physical home button with a fingerprint scanner integrated. It is not sure whether the Taiwanese company will launch the phablet alongside the flagship today.
