HTC Desire 826 with 1080p display, 64-bit processor, LTE support launched in India, priced at Rs 25,990
In line with what was reported earlier this week, HTC has launched the Desire 826 in India. The Taiwanese company has a strong lineup in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, which also includes the Desire 820. The new smartphone is priced at Rs 25,990, and will be available through multiple sales channels.HTC took the wraps off the Desire 826 at CES earlier this year. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display that offers pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood is a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.7GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core + 1GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
On the storage front, the Desire 826 is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. On the photography front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with a 4-Ultrapixel secondary sensor. The cameras come with built-in features like Live Makeup, Create funny movements and face fusion.
The smartphone also features BoomSound speakers, 2,600mAh battery, connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on Android wrapped under Sense UI.
