Xiaomi to sell 1.5 Lakh Redmi 1S: Discounted Moto E affected its sale

Xiaomi has to sell 1.5 Lakh Redmi 1S on FlipKart. But heavily discounted Moto E has affected its sale on the ecommerce site

This seems unusual. Or people seem to have got tired of it. Xiaomi’s entry level handset Xiaomi Redmi 1S is still available on FlipKart. The handset that seemed to be the most elusive handsets in the Indian market is available on the Flipkart website. Earlier the handset used to go out of the stock within 2-3 seconds of being made available. Now what has happened to the Redmi 1S fans that this handset seems to be waiting for buyers to pick it up.

But to be true this is the first time that the company has made any whorthwhile handset available in the market. earlier it used to bring about 20000 units in one go and given the great specs and features of the handset that seem to be ages ahead of the competitor and people used to pick it up without giving any thought.

There are two reasons that the handset is still available on FlipKart despite several hours being passed. First is that it is the first time that the company has brought 1.5 lakh units to sell on FlipKart and secondly Motorola’s Moto E that seems to be from more trustworthy company is selling on FlipKart for around Rs 5500 after more than Rs 1500 discount. so this seems to be better option for many people that the Redmi 1S.

The handset seems really very attractive to indain users. Redmi comes with a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display that has Asahi Dragontrail glass protection and three red coloured capacitive touch buttons right below it.  You can compare the great MiUI to even the best of the best. Based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Redmi MiUi come with great themes, built-in apps and widgets, and advanced settings options. There is no denying the fact that its MiUI makes it look more than an Android handset. The 4.7-incher comes with a great camera. It comes with 8MP back camera with LED flash. Xiaomi says that the Mi 3′s 5-piece lens has an ƒ/2.2 aperture to capture more light, and 28mm wide-angle lens to cover more. For selfie it comes with 1.6Mp front facing camera.
