Microsoft today also launched the Nokia Lumia 730 in India. Unveiled at IFA in Berlin last month, the “selfie smartphone” is priced at Rs 15,299.

The Lumia 730 is the first smartphone in the company’s portfolio to boast a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The camera also features a wide angle lens that lets users click better groupies.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Lumia 730 flaunts a 4.7-inch ClearBlack OLED HD (1280×720 pixels) display with a pixel density of 316ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also included is 8GB internal storage with microSD card support, along with 1TB free OneDrive storage. The 1TB OneDrive storage is free for the first six months, post which it will cost Rs 150 per month.

The smartphone also features a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2,220mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities, which the company claims is good enough for 17 hours of talktime and up to 25 days on standby mode.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and on the software front, the smartphone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update.
