Foreign Automakers See Their Chance In Japan With Electric Vehicles

While overall car sales in Japan dipped 3.2 per cent last year, sales of foreign models rose 1.7 per cent. Imports of battery EVs jumped almost three times to a record 8,610 vehicles, according to the Japan Automobile Importers Association.
