There are three tiers of people when it comes to update urgency. There are chronic updaters like myself, who can’t stand the idea of their laptop, smartphone, or any other device being anything less than totally current. In the middle are people who check for new releases on a schedule, or when a particular problem rears its head. In the last group are people who ignore or actively avoid updating until there’s no choice.
