A free upgrade seems to be rolling out to select LG OLED owners

Seemingly out of nowhere, LG has initiated the rollout of webOS software version 33.30.92 across existing 2025 LG G5 and C5 OLED TV models. This free update, as reported by TechRadar, targets Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR) picture modes, boosting brightness across Cinema Home, Vivid, Game, and Standard presets (but not Filmmaker Mode, which targets reference material standards).
