Realme is launching its new entry-level phone in India very soon. The launch date is said to be March 21. Realme C55 will reportedly come with MediaTek’s Helio G88 processor which can also be found on the Redmi 10 Prime which was launched two years ago in 2021. Realme hasn’t confirmed the specifications of Reamle C55 yet, but the leaks have surfaced on the internet.

Realme C55 vs Redmi 10 Prime: Design 

The Realme C55 is reportedly 7.89mm thick and is expected to come in a lightweight design. The phone is said to feature a capsule-shaped notch which might be inspired by the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro. The functionality of the pill-shaped notch is still not exactly clear. We believe it could show the charge on the device. It also reportedly features a capacitive fingerprint sensor. 

On the other hand, the Redmi 10 Prime comes with a plastic body with a modern design featuring dual-toned colour options on the back. It has a big rectangular camera module on the back which holds a quad-camera setup. It is 9.5mm thick and weighs 192 grams. The smartphone comes in three colours: Astral White, Phantom Black and Bifrost Blue.

Realme C55 vs Redmi 10 Prime: Display

Realme C55 might be rolling out with a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display is tipped to support a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, to make the screen more responsive. 

Redmi 10 Prime comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display panel supports up to 90Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. 

Realme C55 vs Redmi 10 Prime: Performance

Realme C55 is expected to be backed by the Mediatek Helio G88 processor which is an entry-level SoC. The processor has a clock speed of 2.0GHz and could be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Realme C55 will most likely run on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 operating system. It will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.

Redmi 10 Prime also comes with the Mediatek Helio G88 chipset which is paired with 4GB and 6GB RAM. It runs on the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 operating system. Redmi 10 Prime comes with a 6000mAh battery which supports 18-watt fast charging and even 9-watt reverse charging.

Realme C55 vs Redmi 10 Prime: Camera

Realme C55 is likely to sport a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It could sport an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Redmi 10 Prime has a quad camera setup which carries a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it also sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Realme C55 vs Redmi 10 Prime: Price 

Realme has not revealed the price details of Realme C55 but since all the leaked specifications are very basic entry-level configurations so let’s say the expected price range of the phone would be under ₹15,000.

Redmi 10 Prime, on the other hand, launched at a starting price of ₹12,499 in India.
