ColorOS 13 now available for more Oppo phones in India
Oppo on Monday announced that ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13, is now rolling out to more smartphones. The ColorOS 13 rollout started in November last year, and it is now available for smartphones such as Reno 8 Pro 5G, A74 5G, and F21 Pro 5G. Oppo said the stable version of ColorOS 13 will begin rolling out for the F21s Pro 5G on February 7, while the F19s, F19, and A77s will begin receiving the update on February 22.
In a release, Oppo said that the ColorOS 13 beta is currently available for the F21s Pro 5G, F19s, F19, and A77s while the F19 Pro will become eligible for the beta trial of ColorOS 13 from February 14. So if you cannot wait for the stable version, you can install the beta version right away. However, keep in mind that the beta version may have bugs that hamper your experience.
The rollout of the stable ColorOS 13 version is currently going on for the Find X2, Reno 8 Pro 5G, Reno 8 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G, Reno 7 5G, Reno 6 Pro 5G, Reno 6 5G, Reno 5 Pro 5G, F21s Pro, F21 Pro 5G, F21 Pro, F19 Pro+, K10 5G, K10, A96, A76 and A74 5G. How to opt-in for the beta version of ColorOS 13
On an eligible Oppo phone, go to Settings, followed by a tap on About device. Now, tap the icon in the top right corner. You will see the “Trial version” option that you have to tap. The next screen will ask you for your information before you can proceed to the next stage. After you have submitted your details, your application will be forwarded for verification and after approval, the software will become available for your phone. You will be notified that using beta software involves running into bugs occasionally, so make sure you understand those terms before going ahead.
