Amazon’s latest Echo Show fall to a new record low for Prime Day

Amazon device deals are synonymous with Prime Day, though it’s not as often that we see amazing deals on Amazon’s brand new hardware. These devices usually get a token discount, if anything, or multi-buy deals that mean you are spending more, not less.

That’s not true for the all-new Amazon Echo Show, though. It only hit the market a few months ago and has seen very few discounts since then. For Prime Day, it’s had $60 chopped off its retail price meaning Prime members can score one for a new record-low price of $189.99.

Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen) | $60 off

The Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen) is the most advanced Alexa-enabled device to date. It features a gorgeous 10-inch HD screen, a powerful 13MP video chat camera with privacy controls, impressive speakers, and all kinds of smart home and security features. Its most interesting feature is its ability to rotate the screen to follow your gaze, so you’re never out of the frame, and you don’t miss any content.

$190 at Amazon

If you’ve been holding out on buying a smart display, this is the deal to jump on. It’s Amazon’s latest and greatest device and, since Apple doesn’t make a smart display, it’s probably the best option for Apple users right now even if you’re not all-in on Alexa. We’re unlikely to see a price this good again until at least Black Friday, so don’t miss it.

The new Amazon Echo Show features a beautiful 10.1-inch HD display and some very strong speakers in its base. What sets this Echo Show apart from the rest, other than its size, is the fact that its display can rotate to follow you around the room — perfect for keeping you in the frame on a video call or making sure your recipe stays in view while you move about the kitchen.

The Echo Show line is great for situations where visual information is preferred to an audio-only device, like cooking, viewing your security camera feeds or answering your video doorbell, checking the weather forecast, or just catching up on YouTube. The Show’s camera can also be used to keep tabs on your home when you’re away.

All of that is on top of Alexa’s existing smarts and voice controls meaning you can still use the Echo Show to stream music, answer questions, set timers, and control your smart home gear.

You don’t get many chances in the year to score the ultimate Echo device at a discount making now the perfect time to upgrade your smart home setup.
