After announcing iOS 9, Apple today announced a major milestone regarding the App Store. Seven years after launching on iOS, the company says that 100 billion apps have been downloaded on the App Store. Developers have massively benefited from Apple, and the company says that is has paid up to $30 billion to developers till date. As for for penetration, 98 percent of all Fortune 500 companies have an iOS app, while there are more than 195,000 educational apps on the App Store. Breaking down the numbers further, the company says that nearly 850 apps are downloaded every second, and an average iOS user has up to 119 apps.
