BQ Aquaris E5 HD is the second Ubuntu smartphone, to launch later this month
Canonical has announced that it will launch the second Ubuntu smartphone — Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition — later this month. The smartphone again is being built by BQ, and it is said to bring quite a few improvements over its predecessor, The Verge reports.
These improvements include a bigger and better display — 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS — and will be powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core chipset. The smartphone will also feature 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and dual-SIM card slots.
Like its predecessor, the new Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition too will only be available in the European Union via BQ’s online store.
