Motorola has been in an online exclusive tie-up with Flipkart ever since it re-entered India last year. But for the first time, the company has announced the launch of its first brick-and-mortar store Moto Care in India, which will not only let visitors get their hands on Motorola products, but will also provide customer support.
The first store is now up and running in Jayanagar Road in Bangalore. It spans across 3,000 square feet and has facilities for service and support to customers and even acts as an experience zone. While the Moto Care store will not sell any products in the retail shop, it will showcase the portfolio that Motorola has to offer in India. This currently includesMoto X (with leather and wood versions), Moto G, Moto E, Moto Turbo, Motorola Nexus and Moto 360. Users can ask the support staff to help them make an order via Flipkart, and the staff will guide them through the online procedure at the store.
In addition to the Moto Care centre, the company has also launched a couple of other services to up its customer care services. There is a Moto Care App which acts like a helpline of sorts guiding you to the exact point of contacts.
Motorola has also initiated a Moto Care on Wheels project in New Delhi. As part of the project, Moto vans have been deployed on the streets which will provide doorstep customer care service for up to 30 days after purchase. Additionally, Motorola informs that they also have over 150 repair and service centers across India that customers can contact or visit for assistance.
