Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB variant launching in India on February 24, priced at Rs 23,999
A day before the Mi 4 goes on sale via Flipkart, Xiaomi has finally revealed its plans for the 64GB variant. The company announced via a Facebook post that the 64GB variant will go on sale on February 24, priced at Rs 23,999.
While the Xiaomi Mi 4 ticks all the right boxes, the lack of a microSD card slot and only 16GB internal storage is something buyers have complained about. These complaints will however be put to rest, when the company launches the 64GB variant.
As mentioned above, the Xiaomi Mi 4 goes on sale for the first time tomorrow via Flipkart at 2:00PM. More than 250,000 users have registered for the first flash sale, but only 25,000-30,000 units are expected to be available. As is the norm with such flash sales, these units are likely to disappear in a matter of seconds.
To recap, the Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999. It flaunts a 5-inch full HD 1080p, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage, but no microSD card to expand the storage. The smartphone also features 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel camera, 3,080mAh battery, and connectivity options like 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android KitKat wrapped under MIUI 6.0.
