Intex Aqua Power smartphone with octa-core processor, 4,000mAh battery, and Android KitKat launched, priced at Rs 8,444
Intex, adding another smartphone to its portfolio, has launched the Aqua Power. The device is priced at Rs 8,444 and is available at all leading mobile handset stores and e-commerce sites.As far as specifications are concerned, the Aqua Power features 5-inch IPS display, and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. One of the talking points on the device is a massive 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 18 hours of talk time while using 3G and 30 hours of talk time for 2G, and 600 hours on standby mode. Additionally, the battery of the Aqua Power can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.
The smartphone also features 8GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front snapper. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and is available in four colors — white, black, blue and grey. At this price point, the device is set to compete with Redmi Note and Alcatel OneTouch Flash.
