HTC Hima featuring 5-inch display, Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM could be the flagship One (M9)
HTC’s successor to the One (M8) is already causing a bit of buzz on the Internet. Rumored specifications and change in the nomenclature have already surfaced online. Now leakster @Upleaks claims that HTC’s next flagship device could be called the Hima, and has also leaked the specifications of the device.
According to the leakster, the HTC Hima will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor (2GHz Cortex-A57 quad-core + 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone is also believed to feature 20.7-megapixel rear camera, while on the front it could either feature a 13-megapixel snapper or a 4-Ultrapixel snapper. Also likely to be included are 2,840mAh battery, Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under HTC Sense 7.0 UI.
These new specifications are quite different from the ones that have recently leaked. Rumors pegged for a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 16-megapixel OIS camera, and a 3,500mAh battery.
As for availability, @Upleaks claims that HTC will unveil the Hima at MWC 2015. Additionally, the leakster also claims that there is a more affordable variant of the Hima in the works called Hima Ace.
