GOSF 2014 kicks off: Here are some of the best deals
Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) has kicked off. The three-day shopping event is into its third iteration and this year, the company has partnered more than 400 merchants offering deals and discounts.
This year, GOSF has an “exclusive launch corner,” wherein your will find some new products including Google’s Chromecast, Nexus 6, as well as the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with a built-in projector and the HP Pavilion 11-n108TU x360 among others.
Another new section added this year is called the “299 Corner.” As the name suggests here you will find a host of things to buy that cost Rs 299. These include products from across categories like mobile and tablet accessories that include cases, earphones, SD cards and power banks among others, camera accessories, audio and video accessories among others.
With the sale kicking off about half hour back, some of the deals we have come across discounts on all Kindle variants, which sees the new Kindle available for Rs 4,999 instead of Rs 5,999, while the Kindle Paperwhite is now available for Rs 8,999, instead of Rs 10,999.
Amazon India is also offering 60 percent on console and PC games, as well as up to 70 percent off on Kindle eBooks. The Xbox One Console with Fifa 2015 and a free controller is now available for Rs 34,990. Additionally to further tempt buyers, Amazon India is offering a 10 percent cashback on HDFC Debit and Credit Cards, when you spend a minimum of Rs 4,000. The only catch is that the maximum cashback you can avail is Rs 2,000.
Earlier this month, Infibeam announced EMI offers for all the iPhones including the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. As a part of GOSF, it has now added a Rs 8,800 cashback when you buy any iPhone using the EMI scheme.
