Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone available on Amazon India, priced at Rs 5,999
BGR says Earlier this year, Microsoft added over a dozen hardware partners for Windows Phone, which included Micromax, Xolo, Lava, and Karbonn. Out of this bunch, Micromax and Xolo have already launched their smartphones, and today Karbonn has put its hat in the ring. Karbonn’s first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone is called the Titanium Wind W4, and it is available on Amazon India, priced at Rs 5,999.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Titanium Wind W4 flaunts a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, coupled with 512MB RAM. Also included is 4GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card.
The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera, and connectivity options like 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. As mentioned above, the smartphone runs on Windows Phone 8.1.
In comparison, Micromax’s entry-level Windows Phone smartphone called Canvas Win W092 is priced slightly higher at Rs 6,500. It features a 4-inch display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM connectivity and a 1,500mAh battery.
