Spiritfarer is a game about death and loss, painted in a colorful art style. Players guide Stella, the new Spiritfarer, as she finds spirits and helps them come to the resolution they needed so they can cross over to the afterlife. There are a variety of spirits from various walks of life, with several updates including new spirits and locales.
The developers, ThunderLotus Games, revealed the content for the final update in a Tweet, which features two spirits named Jackie and Daria.

Jackie and Daria, a hyena and bat, are a duo unlike any of the other spirits, and are found on a completely new island in the game’s overworld. The island starts out looking dilapidated and dreary, and players are tasked with bringing the island back to life, while learning about Jackie and Daria’s past. The Jackie and Daria update is set to release on December 13, 2021 on Nintendo Switch and all other platforms. This final update, like the Lily and Beverly updates, is free to anyone who has purchased the game.
