Didn’t choose Chimchar? Here’s where to find Fire Pokémon in BDSP!

0

Did you know it can be hard to find a Fire-type Pokémon in BDSP?

If you didn’t pick Chimchar as your starter in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, then its going to be a lot harder to add a Fire type to your team. That’s because there were hardly any Fire Pokémon in the original Diamond and Pearl Pokémon games, so these faithful remakes are mostly the same.

Thankfully, due to the improved Grand Underground, there are more Fire Pokémon available to you in these Gen IV remakes. Here are all of the Fire Pokémon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and where to catch them.

All Fire Pokémon locations in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Some Fire types are version exclusive Pokémon, so you’ll need to trade with someone else if you want to get them. It’s also worth noting that some Pokémon can only be caught after defeating all gym leaders and the Elite Four or by unlocking the National Pokédex.
