Twitter rolls out improved profile searching on iPhone

Twitter is rolling out expanded searching on profiles to all iPhone users on the latest version of its app.

According to XDA Developers:

Twitter is always testing and launching new features across different platforms. While the company is working on expanding the downvote button to the web, it seems like other changes are rolling out on iOS. We have discovered earlier that a Search @Username’s Tweets button is appearing on the latest (stable) version of the iPhone app.

As noted, a new button in the top right-hand corner of a user’s profile now features a search icon. Tapping on it lets you search through the tweets of a specific user, including your own.

The feature first appeared last month, noted by social media guru Matt Navarra:

Earlier this week Instagram rolled out a new Twitter Card preview feature for posting content on Twitter from Instagram. From that report:

Today, Instagram announced a surprising update for those who want to share content to Twitter.

In a Twitter post, the company announced that you’ll now be able to share content from Instagram to Twitter and that a preview of your content will actually be available. This includes a preview of the photo in a Twitter Card.
