The sooner filming begins the sooner we’ll be able to watch it!

The third season of the hugely popular Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso will begin filming on January 31, 2022. That’s according to star Phil Dunster, although he says he doesn’t know what the storyline will be.

According to a Variety report, Dunster was attending Neiman Marcus’ reveal of its holiday campaign on the Paramount lot when he was asked about what’s in store.

“Honestly, I’m not trying to be coy, but I don’t know anything,” he said when asked about upcoming storylines on the Apple TV series. “I think they like to keep it fresh. But also Jason [Sudeikis] knows what the story arc is. He sprinkles ideas of what’s going to come here and there but there’s nothing really specific. They’re in the writers room now and we’ll see what happens.”

We heard last month that there is talk of a fourth season despite original plans being for a three-season run, although nothing has been made official yet. As for the third season, it’s expected that it will premiere on Apple TV+ around August 2022 time.

It’s fair to say that Ted Lasso has been a huge hit for Apple TV+ and it’s already won a ton of awards. It surely seems unlikely that three seasons will be all we get.
