Aspyr has announced that Civilization VI on iPhone and iPad will get the New Frontier Pass on August 24, making a big update for the game.

Announced via Twitter, the move will see gamers gain new civilizations and leaders to play with among more changes that will get fans of the game excited.

Continue your quest to build your greatest empire with the Civilization VI – New Frontier Pass, featuring eight new civilizations and nine new leaders, and a variety of new gameplay content, including six new game modes.

As AppleInsider also notes, the big day will also see all existing DLC, as well as the base game, unlocked for just $4.99. The update that will add the New Frontier Pass will also include fixes for cross-platform saves and more.

Civilization VI is available on iPhone and iPad, although you’ll need a pretty recent device to make the most of it.
