The game received an update today, with a new character alongside a balancing patch.
The balancing patch affects stats and move cooldowns.
Pokémon UNITE has received continuous updates since its release, much to the delight of fans. The game was even featured in the August 2021 Pokémon Presents, with new playable Pokémon announced for a future release. In today’s update for Pokémon UNITE, the developers made some major changes to moves and stats by various Pokémon.

Changes are being made to some Pokémon stats and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.
Crustle
Stealth Rock:
Cooldown reduced.
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Rock Tomb:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Garchomp
Movement speed changed.
Bulldoze:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Dragon Rush:
Cooldown reduced.
Slowbro
Surf:
Duration of effects on opposing Pokémon decreased.
Scald:

Heavy Slam:
