Xolo Q2100 Android KitKat smartphone with fingerprint sensor launched, priced at Rs 13,499
Xolo today launched a new smartphone called the Q2100. This new smartphone is the first in the company’s portfolio to boast a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is priced at Rs 13,499 and is available on e-commerce sites and with mobile retailers.
One of the talking points on the smartphone is the fingerprint sensor, which has been a feature normally seen on high-end smartphones like the iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Back in August however, Swipe launched the Sense, which too featured a fingerprint sensor at a price tag of Rs 9,999. The fingerprint sensor on the Q2100 is located at the back and users can store three different fingerprints.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Q2100 sports a 5.5-inch HD 720p display and is protected by Corning Gorilla 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT65882 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also included is 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Xolo has also included an IR Blaster on the smartphone, and has also preloaded the Peel Smart Remote app.
