Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro with 12.2-inch Super AMOLED display may be unveiled at MWC 2015: Report

While rolling out an update to its Milk Music app, Samsung has accidentally let out a hidden cat out of the bag giving us a hint for its future release. The changelog of the latest update in the Google Play Store, has the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro mentioned in it fuelling speculations of another tablet in the works from the tech giant.

This was first spotted first by Sammobile, who speculate that the tablet will sport a 12.2-inch display. The Tab S Pro is said to the larger variant of the Galaxy Tab S which currently comes in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch display sizes. With MWC 2015 coming close, the report also speculates that Samsung might unveil the tablet then.

If it’s a larger variant of the Galaxy Tab S, then it sure will boast Super AMOLED display, high-end specs, and will come at a premium rate. The Tab S tablets are powered by an Exynos 5 octa-core chipset (quad-core 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores) clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. Also included is 16/32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The tablets also feature an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and on the software front, they run on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, wrapped under Samsung’s Magazine UI. They were launched in India in July last year, and were priced at Rs 37,800 and Rs 44,800 respectively.
