The current flagship of Samsung’s Super Ultra Wide line-up, the Odyssey G9 is a serious powerhouse. It boasts a 49-inch QLED panel with 240hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 5120 x 1440 pixel display over 32:9 aspect ratio and all manner of other goodness. 

It’s not cheap, but it is discounted with £90 knocked off the price tag making it a real temptation. 

Samsung CRG9 Super UItra Wide Gaming monitor

The previous flagship in this range is the Samsung CRG9. A much more affordable screen with some really nice highlights. This is a real beast of a gaming display that’s now nicely discounted. It features a Super Ultra Wide Dual WQHD display with 5120 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz, Freesync, Gsync Compatibility and HDR 1000. Some serious specs that result in a really immersive view that lets you lose yourself in whatever game you’re playing. 

In the UK, for Prime Day it’s £300 less than normal at £795. In the US it’s 40% off its usual selling price making it $899.99
