HDMI 2.2 isn’t going to be what you expect

HDMI 2.2 is here, and it brings a massive jump in performance from what HDMI 2.1 offers. HDMI 2.1 caps out at 48 Gbps, which is nothing to scoff at, but HDMI 2.2 doubles that bandwidth up to 96. No matter how you slice it, that’s a big leap in performance, and on paper, it’s well worth upgrading your cables.
