Android is about to embrace the iPhone’s worst feature

With the expected release of Android 17 later this year, Google might be gearing up to make the biggest change to the operating system’s UI paradigm in quite some time. Over on Telegram, MysticLeaks has shared a new video and some stills of what is purportedly an internal build of Android 17, and the big takeaway is that Google is still very much on track to split notifications and quick settings into two bespoke panels in a future update.
