Often, we don’t think much of leaving devices plugged in, and that makes sense. Many of them are designed around it — it’s not like you need to unplug your fridge or smart lamp periodically. In some circumstances, though, it’s a legitimate concern. If you leave a phone plugged in most of the day, it can sit at full charge, degrading its long-term battery health.
