Roku is expanding this paid feature to more devices

At the CES 2026 trade show event currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, Roku founder, chairman, and CEO Anthony Wood shared some interesting insights regarding the company’s first-party Howdy streaming service. Without downright confirming a timeline or support for any specific platform, Wood hinted at the internal intent to transform Howdy into an affordable cross-platform content provider at some point in the future.
