I tried Apple’s new Journal app, and for once, basic is good

When Apple released iOS 17.2, along with software updates for the rest of its hardware lineup, it introduced typical performance and security improvements, in addition to adding new features to the iPhone. One of those new features is the Journal app, first announced during WWDC last June.
