Amazfit has launched a new smartwatch named Amazfit Bip 5. The new smartwatch comes with a lot of new features like a large 1.91 display, Bluetooth calling, and much more. The smartwatch will target the sub-Rs 10,000 segment in the market, offering a good mix of health and lifestyle, along with a big screen for personalisation.
Amazfit Bip 5: Price and availability
The Amazfit Bip 5 has been launched at a price of Rs 7,499 in India. The smartwatch has been launched in three colour variants – Soft Black, Cream White, and Pastel Pink. The Amazfit Bip 5 smartwatch will be available for purchase on Amazon starting August 31.
Amazfit Bip 5: Specifications and features
Coming to specifications, the Amazfit Bip 5 comes with a 1.91-inch HD display which is protected by a 2.5D tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating. The smartwatch also offers several customisation options with over 70 watch faces and 13 editable ones that offer customisable widgets.
The Amazfit Bip 5 also comes with Amazon Alexa integration, bringing the virtual assistant on your wrist. There is also Bluetooth calling, so users can take calls without taking their smartphone out all the time.
In terms of health features, the Amazfit Bip 5 has everything you’ll need. The smartwatch comes with sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking for women, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and much more. The Amazfit Bip 5 is also equipped with the capability to utilize four distinct satellite positioning systems, but the brand has not specified which satellite positioning systems the watch could use.
The Amazfit Bip 5 comes as a competitor to some smartwatches from manufacturers like Noise, Titan, Pebble, and the likes. With a ₹7,499 price tag, the Amazfit Bip 5 also lacks some features that its competitors offer like an AMOLED display, a bigger battery and more.
