WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new feature which will allow users to share up to 100 media within the chats, on iOS beta. As per WABetaInfo, with the new feature, beta users can now select up to 100 media in the media picker within the application, which was earlier limited to only 30.

This feature is useful as users will finally be able to share entire albums, making it easier to share memories and moments. The ability to share up to 100 media within the chats is available for some beta testers after installing the latest update of WhatsApp beta for iOS from TestFlight app and is expected to roll out to more people over the coming days, the report said.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out longer group subjects and descriptions on iOS beta, making it easier for users to better describe groups.

It was reported that the messaging platform is working on a functionality that will enable WhatsApp users to share high-quality images with their friends and family. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the feature in development will soon make it possible to send photos in their original quality. A screenshot of the feature shared by the blog post shows that WhatsApp will soon introduce a button in its image-editor tool that will enable users to pick between Standard Quality images and HD Quality images, giving users more flexibility in terms of sharing images.

“This is a great improvement compared to the current image compression that occurs when sending images. People will no longer have to worry about their images losing quality or resolution when sending them,” the blog site wrote in a post.

Furthermore, the blog site says that even as WhatsApp introduces the functionality to share high-quality images, users will still have the option of sending photos using the standard compression method, ‘which can be useful for those who wish to conserve storage space, and it is always the default option.’
