OnePlus Buds Pro 2 price leaked ahead of launch
OnePlus has announced that it will launch a series of products on February 7 in India and some European countries. While the OnePlus 11 will be the star of the show, there will be lesser products that many people are waiting for. For instance, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. This will be OnePlus’ next flagship TWS earbuds — a successor to the original OnePlus Buds Pro. Now ahead of the launch, the price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has been leaked.
According to tipster Snoopy Tech, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 may cost EUR 179 in a few countries in Europe. However, in a select few markets, customers may have to pay as much as EUR 219 for the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, he said. These prices translate to roughly Rs 15,900 and Rs 19,400. That should mean that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be a premium product and a rival to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Apple AirPods Pro. However, considering the price of the predecessor OnePlus Buds Pro in India, that may not be the case here.
OnePlus launched the Buds Pro in India at Rs 9,999. If not the same, then the price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 could see a marginal increase, owing to several factors such as rising costs of components and the market downturn. Moreover, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds were launched at CNY 899 in China. That translates to roughly Rs 10,900, representing an increase of around Rs 1,000. The bottom line is that the price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in India will not be as exorbitant as it will be in European countries. We will find out the official price at the event.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will come with Dynaudio tuning for sounds — much like Oppo Enco X2. The earbuds are expected to have a design similar to the original Buds Pro, meaning there will be a stem in two different shades: a matte finish on the top half and a shiny covering on the bottom. The earbuds may come with 11mm dynamic drivers and be available in Arbor Green and Black colours.
