The phones have been launched in select markets, one of which thankfully happens to be India. The Google Pixel 7 starts at Rs 59,999 and will be available in three colours — Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass.

The Pixel 7 Pro is also being made available in three colours — Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow colour. However, this one will be made available at a more premium price point, with the phone starting at Rs 84,999. Both the devices will be Flipkart exclusives and have been announced with launch offers including Rs 6,000 cashback on the Pixel 7 and Rs 8,500 cashback on the Pixel 7 Pro.

Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7: Specifications

The new flagships from Google are powered by the company’s in-house second-generation Tensor G2 SoC. This is a new 4nm chipset with 2 Cortex-X1 cores, two Cortex-A76 cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores. The expectation is that this chipset will offer not only better performance compared to Google’s first-gen Tensor chip, but will offer improved power efficiency.

Apart from this, Google Pixel 7 sports a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ playback support, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Pixel 7 Pro features a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD display with a 120Hz LTPO panel.

Unlock the device and you get Android 13 laid on top of the Tensor G2 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4355mAh battery (with 30W charging support and 21W wireless charging support).

In terms of optics, you are getting a 50MP primary camera coupled with 12MP ultrawide snapper on the back of the Pixel 7. The front has a 10.8MP selfie shooter. The videography is limited to 4K30 on the front while you get to have 4K60 at the back. On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup that also includes a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. Both phones are equipped with a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera and have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Pixel 7 comes with fast wired charging along with wireless charging support. The Pixel 7 Pro also offers similar battery specs, comes with fast wired charging along with wireless charging support, and is claimed to offer up to 72 hours of battery life with Google’s Extreme Battery Saver mode enabled.
