Accessory maker Satechi has announced three new products that are designed for use with Apple silicon Macs including the new M1 Max MacBook Pro. One of the new products takes a single port from a Mac and turns it into as many as 11.
That’s the new Thunderbolt 4 Dock, a product that sells for $299.99 with buyers getting a product that offers 11 ports from a single connection including three Thunderbolt 4, four USB-A, Gigabit Ethernet, UHS-II card readers, and a 3.5mm audio jack port.
Next, the USB-C Multiport MX Adapter again uses just one port on a modern Mac and provides access to “4K dual HDMI displays, Gigabit Ethernet connection, fast PD charging, and multitude of data ports including USB-C data, USB-A 3.0 data, micro/SD card readers, and an audio jack port.” That’ll set you back $179.99.
Finally, we have the USB-C Multimedia Adapter M1, a $149.99 adapter that gives creatives access to all of the ports they could possibly need including “two 4K HDMI ports (60Hz/30Hz), one USB-C PD charging port, one USB-C data port, and two USB-A 3.0 data ports.”
The Thunderbolt 4 Dock and USB-C Multimedia Adapter M1 are available from Best Buy right now, while the USB-C Multiport MX Adapter is offered via Amazon.
All of these adapters take the best Macs Apple offers and turns them into multi-port powerhouses. All you need to do now is select the one that best suits your needs.
