EA will host a major online games showcase on 22 July 2021.

Called EA Play Live, it will reveal and detail several upcoming games through a live broadcast. We’re expecting FIFA 22 and a new installment to the Dead Space series at last.

Here’s when and how to watch it, plus what to expect.

When is the EA Play Live 2021 event?

The event will be streamed online on Thursday 22 July 2021. We’re not yet sure when the main event wil start, but a pre-show is confirmed to begin at 10am PT.

How to watch EA Play Live

We’re hoping to host the event here on Pocket-lint closer to its start.

Alternatively, you should also be able to watch it across different EA social media channels, including its YouTube channel and a dedicated website here.

What to expect

There are a few games that will surely be launched or further detailed during the event, including FIFA 22 and Battlefield 2042.

One of the biggest rumours circulating right now is that a new Dead Space game will be announced. This comes after journalist Jeff Grubb reported EA Motive is developing a new game for “an established IP”.

It was then corroborated by Gematsu, which claimed the game was indeed a Dead Space revival.

We also hope to see more on BioWare’s new Dragon Age game, although it’s far too early to get a glimpse at its new Mass Effect game too.
