Samsung Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 launched in India for Rs 19,300 and Rs 23,000 respectively
Alongside the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones, Samsung also launched two new handsets in its Galaxy E series in India today. The Galaxy E5, which is an impressively thin handset with an entry level specification is priced at Rs 19,300, while the Galaxy E7 with mid-range specification costs Rs 23,000. Both the handsets will be available for sale in coming days.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the E5 sports a 5-inch Super-AMOLED display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB RAM. On the camera front, it comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include support for Wi-Fi and 3G, and a 2,400 mAh battery.
The Galaxy E7, on the other hand sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It is also powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 13-megapixel camera on rear end, and a 5-megapixel upfront. It packs in a 2,950 mAh battery. Both the handsets come with 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Samsung also announced that is has partnered with Vodafone for free data on the two smartphones.
