Lava Iris Win1 Windows 8.1 smartphone launched for Rs 4,999, will go on sale on December 4 exclusively on Flipkart
Lava has today launched its first Windows Phone called the Iris Win1. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart.
We first heard about Lava’s plans of launching a Windows Phone yesterday, when the device was mentioned in Flipkart’s newsletter meant for its affiliate members. As far as specifications are concerned, the Iris Win1 sports a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, and a 1,950mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on Windows Phone 8.1.
The Iris Win1 will be competing against the likes of the recently launched Celkon Win 400, which is priced at Rs 4,999 and is exclusively available on Snapdeal.
