OnePlus today hosted a special event in India wherein the company launched the OnePlus 11 5G and the OnePlus 11R smartphones. In addition to these, the company launched a pair of truly wireless earbuds dubbed as the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The newly launched TWS earbuds are the successor the OnePlus Buds Pro that was introduced back in 2021 and is available at a price of Rs 8,990 in India.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 price and availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 cost Rs 11,999 in India while the 2R version of the device will be available in the country at a price of Rs 9,999. The pre-order for these buds will begin on February 7. While the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be available in the country starting February 14, the 2R version of the device will be available in March. They come in Arbor Green, Obsidian Black and Misty White colour variants and they will be available via OnePlus.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra, OnePlus Experience Stores and select retail stores.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 specifications and features
As far as the design is concerned, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 come with NCL matter coating and polished indium stocks. The buds come with IP55 dust and water-resistant coating while the case comes with IPX4 certification. These earbuds come with touch controls and users can use HeyMelody app to control various settings.
In terms of the specifications, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 come with 11mm + 6mm MelodyBoost dual drivers that have been created in partnership with Dynaudio. OnePlus says that these drivers deliver a deeper, fuller, more textured dynamic bass and crisp, well-balanced highs. These earbuds also come with Dynaudio’s equalizer setting (EQ) and three custom equaliser profiles — Bold, Serenade, and Bass giving users more flexibility to customise the sound. These earbuds have three mics on each earbud for accurately picking up vocals and providing a better noise cancellation experience.
Coming to the battery life, each bud in the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 comes with a 60mAh battery while the case has a 520mAh battery. Overall, the buds offer up to 25 hours of battery life with ANC turned on and up to 39 hours of battery life with the ANC turned off. The company says that 10 minutes of charge can provide up to three of listening time. The battery also features support for wireless charging technology.
As far as features are concerned, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 come with a spatial audio feature, which has been developed in collaboration with Google. OnePlus says that this functionality uses Google’s six-axis IMU and its own spatial rendering algorithm for providing a more immersive experience. The caveat is that the spatial audio functionality works only with the OnePlus 11 5G feature. Additionally, these earbuds come with adaptive noise cancellation functionality up to 48dB and a Transparency Mode, which the company says allows clearer conversations and better safety and awareness. Additionally, they feature support for a Zen Mode Air, which includes five curated white noise modes for working.
Coming to connectivity, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 can connect to up to two devices simultaneously. It also comes with Google’s Fast Pair feature that lets these buds to scan for and connect to nearby Android devices automatically via Bluetooth. It connects to nearby devices using Bluetooth 5.3 LE.
