Battleground Mobile India users facing log-in error issue: Check how to fix it

Krafton studio’s Battleground Mobile India is facing problems with log-in. The company has even acknowledged the issue and has released a statement about the error. The issue started popping on December 29.

Battleground Mobile India, in the statement, said, “We are continuously trying to find the cause of the issue, but taking a time. We will promptly get back to you with a notice once the cause has been found or fixed.”

According to the statement, BGMI has identified that some players are experiencing login failure from 21:00 PM, Dec 29 with an error message showing “Server authentication error. Log in failed”. There’s no fix right now and BGMI is working to fix the issue.

However, players on Android smartphones can try to fix the problem by clearing the cache and then restarting the game.

How to clear BGMI cache on Android devices:

-To clear the cache of the installed game, the player has to go to the settings of her/his smartphone.
-After that go to App Management. The player can find the BGMI app in the App Management section.
-By clicking on the app, the player will have to go to App Info.
-Here the player will see the option of Clear Cache.
-By tapping on clear cache, you will have to come back to the main screen.
-Now try launching the game once again.

Earlier this week, BGMI permanently banned 58,611 accounts in a span of just six days from December 20 to December 26. The gaming platform also listed the nicknames of the gamers who were found cheating in order to dissuade them from doing the same mistake again.

In a statement, BGMI said, “Battlegrounds Mobile India will strive to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eradicating the use of illegal programs in order to provide you a pleasant gaming environment.”
