Apple iPhone 7 launch live: Apple takes on Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365 with real-time collaboration in iWork

While we wait for Apple to unveil the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, it has announced it is bringing real-time collaboration in iWork. What this means is multiple users would be able to work on the same file together.

Real-time collaboration will work across all iWork apps including Numbers, Pages and Keynote. Users will be able to use any device – Mac, iPad or iPhone to collaborate. Apple showed how multiple users could collaborate on a single Keynote presentation and add different elements simultaneously.

This will compete with Google Docs as well as Microsoft’s Office 365, both of which already offer real-time collaboration.
