Just ahead of the April 8 unveil in China HTC One M9+ teaser photos have surfaced again pretty much confirming the smartphone. The photos showcase the UI and the addition of the physical home button, while also reiterating the launch date of the device.

The photos were first spotted on Chinese site MyDivers, and they highlight the physical home button, the volume rocker and the UI on the One M9+. We also see the date April 8 and the city Beijing on the teaser photos, putting an end to all speculations. These photos also fall in line with previous leaks, that show the physical home button as well, and could come with fingerprint sensors. The addition of the button is a big shift from HTC’s design language, as there was no physical button in the One (M8) or the One M9. Additionally, the teaser also reveals the full metal One M9-like design, with the gold and silver finish.

Previous leaks suggest the return of One (M8)’s duo-lens camera setup. The One M9+ sports a 20-megapixel camera module with a secondary depth sensor mounted over it. Other than that, the One M9+ has the similar two-tone design and brushed metal texture at the back as the One M9.

The One M9+ will flaunt a 5.2-inch display with a QHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. Unlike the One M9, the new variant will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 octa-core processor paired with PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The device will offer 32GB of internal storage.

The phone is rumored to be made available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The smartphone will also include a 12-megapixel camera at the front. On the software front, again the smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
